Purple Coral Pea Pillowcase
Inspired by the Hardenbergia violacea (commonly known as the Purple Coral Pea or Happy Wanderer) which is found extensively in the bushland near my childhood home in Cooma, NSW in Australia.
This is one of my favourite natives and I loved the concept of falling asleep in a bed of Purple Coral Pea!
The images to the right show the repeat print that will be used in the Snakegrass Pillowcase - they are currently under production for the first time so no final pictures yet!
Inspired by the Indigenous Flora found in the Darebin Parklands in the area known as "snakegrass" featuring the Chocolate Lily, Bulbine Bulbosa, Kangaroo Grass, Kidney Weed, Tall Blue Bell, Nodding Saltbush, Running Postman Common Everlasting Daisy and Native Raspberry.
Handmade and printed with water-based pigment inks in Melbourne Australia. All pillowcases are highly lightfast and will not fade easily in the sun.
Size & fabric content: 45cm x 73cm, Organic Cotton.
Care Instructions: Gentle Hand wash, dry flat, warm iron.
Shipping: Each Pillowcase is pressed, folded in tissue paper and sealed in a waterproof package with firm cardboard to prevent damage.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for production and postage of your order. You can also select Elsewhere under postage if you are in Melbourne on the 7th April - I will be at the Makers and Shakers Market at the Coburg Town Hall this day.
